Great Advice from Einstein!

By on Dec 15, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

I subscribe to Jean Houston’s blog. She is an amazing woman with incredible insight on Awakening and Oneness. I grabbed this from her newsletter this morning. I thought it was relevant to repost it on my blog for those you influence the young! Dear Patty, When I was eight years old, I attended a school in Manhattan where they felt it would be good for students to meet some of the great elders of the time. One of those elders was Albert Einstein, and one day we were trotted across the river over to Princeton University to his house there. He had a lot of hair and was very sweet. One of my smart-alecky classmates said to him: “Uh, Mr. Einstein, how can we get to be as smart as you?” He said: “Read fairy tales,” which made no sense to us at all. So another smart-alecky kid said: “Mr. Einstein, how can we get to be smarter than you?” He said: “Read...

What Went Wrong the Last 20 to 30 Years of Parenting?

By on Dec 14, 2015 in Uncategorized | 4 comments

What happened to parents of the young adults of today? Seriously, I ask this question from my heart? As a blogger I read other blogs daily! I am always amazed at the profound insights I discover, as well as a few comments that just stop me in my tracks. Today I came across a post from a guy that recently finished the Camino. Remember I walked those same 500 miles in September and October. This guy walked in late October and November. Today he posted 15 items that are trending. Among those on the list were: *the over use of the comforting words “you are in my thoughts and prayers”. When really they aren’t. *this shift of love and worship of animals…especially CATS! *sending “good vibes”. What are they? Will they be charged to my electric bill? *America’s fear of who will lead us after this next election. *Our fascination of Bruce Jenner, the...

Mommy, Is Santa Real?

By on Dec 13, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

Santa Claus! Can you remember when you were a believer? Do you remember when your bubble burst? Were you devastated?  If your child questions if Santa is real, turn it back on them. “Why? What do you think?” Then answer their questions truthfully. And be sure to tell them how very proud you are that they figured out that Santa was just a fairy tale. Tell them you were a year or two older then them when you finally figured it out. But until then do yourself a favor and don’t use the “naughty and nice” threats to make your kids behave. Children should learn at an early age that this holiday is all about the “giving” not the “receiving”. Volunteer with them feeding the homeless. Allow your kids to pick out gifts for needy children and then find a way for them to personally deliver them.Give them money to put in every red Salvation Army...

Parenting with Numerology

By on Dec 12, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

It sure would be easy if all the kids in the family were all born on the same day!  But that is pretty rare! To be able to raise all the kids in the same fashion, as the same Lifepath number, would make life easier for all parents. But wait, I think the majority of you do this anyway. That is why most adults my age blame their problems in life and sufferings on their parents. Isn’t it true? Wouldn’t you be happy if your parent did or didn’t do something better while you were under their care? In this blog I usually aim most of my attention toward the NINE Lifepaths of children. Children do grow and mature and when they do their traits and talents remain the same. The Lifepath is the major path, the birth force, the core of every human walking the earth all based on the day they took their first breathe. This post is geared to explain the way in which each path...

Do You Have a Baby You Love!?!

By on Dec 10, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

I have baby pictures of my father who was born in 1924. He is about a year old and is wearing a dress. At this young age, I wonder if my grandmother ever had a clue who this only child was to become in the future. I have pictures of both my brothers at 6 months old. And of course, several pictures of me at a young age. I look at these pictures and think how important it is for parents of today to truly know the little soul that recently entered earth via their love. Isn’t knowing this child’s Lifepath number as important as feeding, clothing and providing a safe home? Doesn’t every parent want a strong and healthy child? The nine completely different Lifepaths describe the soul to a T! Each path is a different personality. They have different wishes, hopes and dreams. They deal with conflict differently. Mentally, physically, emotionally and intuitively are the four...
